TX Series Keys

• Keep keys out of reach of children. Keys are small and may pose a choking hazard.
• Do not leave spare keys in obvious places, such as under doormats or flowerpots — this increases the risk of burglary.
• Do not attach address details to your keyring. If lost, this could lead to unauthorised access to your home.
• Store spare keys securely, ideally with a trusted person or in a secure key safe.
• Avoid exposing keys to excessive heat, moisture, or bending, as this may damage the key or compromise its fit in the lock.
• Some keys contain nickel plating, which may cause skin irritation in individuals with a nickel allergy. Discontinue use and seek medical advice if a rash or reaction occurs.
• Do not use keys for unintended purposes, such as opening paint tins or parcels — this can bend or damage the key and lead to lock issues.
• Do not use bent keys. Even a slight bend can cause the key to jam or snap inside the lock. Always replace damaged keys.
• Avoid repeated bending or misuse of keys. This can cause hidden fractures in the metal, weakening the key and increasing the risk of it breaking in the lock.
• If your key becomes stiff or difficult to use, do not force it — clean and lubricate the lock, or contact a locksmith to avoid damage.
