| 2018-07-31 00:07:38 | Patrick Watson | I'm afraid the keys don't fit the filing cabinet Yale lock. R 10 is what is indented on the brass lock. I have had the filing cabinet for almost 30 years, and it was second-hand when I got it. I wonder therefore if maybe the lock codes for Yale have changed over that period. I don't know if this helps place the filing cabinet type - it is dark green with brass lock, brass label frames and brass drawer handles, and the drawer width is just 345mm ie much too narrow to take A4 suspension files. It is presently locked. I have mislaid the sole remaining key I had for it, hence why I requested replacement keys from your company. I am not duly concerned about returning the keys. They arrived very promptly and were marked R 10, so everything appears to have been done without fault at your end. If I hadn't received your email, I most probably wouldn't have contacted you. I rate the promptness of delivery as very good indeed. But I would very much like to gain access to the filing cabinet and don't know now what I might do to achieve this. So, if you have any further thoughts on how I might gain access to my filing cabinet, from the info I've provided above I would be most grateful to receive it. Thanks in anticipation.
